Don’t you ever feel distracted. I often do. And i think i just have a lack of energy sometimes.
i’ve always felt like i had a type B personality. My parents never pushed me that much. and i’ve pushed myself only for short periods of time when absolutely necessary. I prefer to just feel sometimes.
I just feel like i want to do better. In this world we have to work to earn money, but that’s not the only point. Almost anyone can do that. What is really important to me is finding a meaning and purpose that’s bigger than that.
we can watch reality TV every night after we get home from work, or we can open that creative program and get that personal project done. or at least try…
what makes it less appealing though? sometimes we just seek entertainment, why? it doesn’t pay off for our long term goals… we want to achieve our goals of course. but sometimes we get carried away day by day by our mental health upkeep needs. it almost feels like a grind in itself which i think is when it can start to be come counter-productive.
sometimes it might be better to actually work on your goals or simply go stupid, for a time, rather than stick to a rigid schedule of meditation that can sometimes leave us feeling unfulfilled and too uptight. don’t tell me that hasn’t happened to you because it’s happened to me. we are fluid. we change. we don’t have to do the same routines for the rest of our lives. as we change our routines can change and it doesn’t make us less of a warrior if we decide to redact on a routine or skip a day.
surrounding yourself with good people
we need to be gentle on ourselves but we need to work on what matters. we have to surround ourselves with people that matter and who will help us achieve what we want to achieve and we have to be supportive of those friends too for them to support us, it goes both ways.
it can’t be just anybody either. some people stick. some people don’t! that’s okay. but don’t just have people around just to have people. they need to actually inspire you or it’s going to be fruitless. you know this..
i remember feeling some of the most inspired moments when i had just finished with it got done with hanging out with friends who really uplifted me.
i think it’s important to make sense of your situation. what ever you are going through mentally, get a therapist, get lessons in what you want to learn. have a group of people helping you. quit your vices. Put yourself on the heroes journey. It’s going to help you a lot of you think do your life like that. Think of what you can do. Be aware, be great because you can and you will accomplish great things…
